Stay away from people who are sick It might sound obvious, but it’s worth repeating: keep your distance from people who are sick.

If you need to be around a sick person, limit your contact and avoid unnecessary touching like shaking hands or hugging.

If you must be around someone who is sick, ask them to wear a mask and wear a mask as well to help prevent germs from spreading through coughing or sneezing.
